ಮೈಸೂರು, ಆ.20, 2021 : (www.justkannada.in news) ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೊಸ ಯೋಜನೆ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಸಣ್ಣ ಅನುಮಾನ, ಗುಮಾನಿ ಸಹಜವಾಗಿಯೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಹೊಸತನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಗ್ಗಿದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಮೈವಿವಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಕ್ರಾರ್ಡ್ ಹಾಲ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ-2020 ಕುರಿತಾದ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದಿಷ್ಟು..
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಚರ್ಚೆ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಈ ನೀತಿ ರೂಪಿಸುವಾಗ ಸಮಿತಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಕಸ್ತೂರಿ ರಂಗನ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದೀರ್ಘವಾದ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. 2019ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿವಿಗಳ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರು ನೂತನ ಪಾಲಿಸಿಯ ಹಲವು ಅಂಶಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಕಸ್ತೂರಿ ರಂಗನ್ ಅವರಿಂದಲೂ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ವಿಚಾರ ವಿನಿಮಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಫಲಪ್ರದವಾದ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಆದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಮುಂದುವರಿದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಈ ದಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ ಬಹುಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಾಲಿಸಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವರು ಇದನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಲು ದೃಢ ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೂರು ದಶಕಗಳ ನಂತರ ಹೊಸ ಶತಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಮಗೆ ಸಂತಸ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಚಾರಿತ್ರಿಕವಾಗಿ ಇದು ಬಹು ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾದ ಘಟನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಿಸಿದರು.
ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೊಸ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಅನುಮಾನ, ಗುಮಾನಿ ಇದ್ದೆಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಹೊಸದು, ನಮಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಸಣ್ಣ ಅಧೈರ್ಯ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಹೊಸದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾವು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸುತ್ತ ಬಂದರೆ, ಪ್ರಾಯಶಃ ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೆವೋ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು. ಯಥಾಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಏನಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಹಾದಿ ತಲುಪಬೇಕಾದರೆ ನಾವು ಮುಂದಡಿ ಇಡಲೇಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಬಿ., ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ತಿಮ್ಮೇಗೌಡ ಬಿ, ಕುಲಸಚಿವ ಪ್ರೊ.ಆರ್.ಶಿವಪ್ಪ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರರು ಇದ್ದರು.

“Whenever a new government program or scheme is implemented it is common that people will suspect it. But, we can achieve progress only when we adapt to it,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
He participated in a workshop on National Education Policy – 2020, held at the Crawford Hall auditorium in the University of Mysore. In his address, he said, “A lot of discussions have been held about the National Education Policy already. During the formulation of this policy, a detailed discussion was held at the University of Mysore under the leadership of Kasturi Rangan. Vice-Chancellors of all the Universities had taken part in that meeting held in the year 2019 and had expressed their views and opinions. Educational experts had thrown light on several aspects of the new NEP. Kasturi Rangan had also shared a lot of ideas. It was a successful seminar. This workshop is held as a continuation of that seminar.”
“The NEP is a significant policy. The Higher Education Minister of Karnataka has vowed to implement it effectively. I am happy for implementing a new education policy for the new century, after three decades,” he added.
Collegiate and Technical Education Department Commissioner Pradeep B., former Vice-Chancellor Prof. Timmegowda B., Vice-Chancellor Prof. R. Shivappa, and others participated in the workshop.
