ಮೈಸೂರು,ಮೇ,6,2022(www.justkannada.in): ನಗರದ ಕ್ರಾರ್ಡ್ ಭವನದ ವಿದ್ಯಾವಿಷಯಕ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ. ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಜನೆ, ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮಂಡಳಿ (ಪಿಎಂಇಐ) ಸಭೆ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಾರದಿಂದ ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶಿತಗೊಂಡ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ.ಕೆ. ಮಹದೇವ. ಪ್ರೊ. ಎಂ.ಕೆ, ಸೂರಪ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ಡಾ. ಡಿ. ಸುಧನ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಕಾಯದ ಡೀನರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರುಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗೀಣ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅದರಂತೆ, ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಖಾಯಂ ಬೋಧಕ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅನುಮೋದನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ನೆರವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ 2020ನ್ನು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಸಭೆಯು ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಕೆರಿಯರ್ ಹಬ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ ನೂತನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Discussion on permanent teaching posts at UoM
Mysuru, May 6, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Board (PMEI) meeting were held on Friday at the Vidyavishayaka Parishat auditorium in Crawford Hall, under the leadership of Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
Government nominated members Dr. K. Mahadev, Prof. M.K. Soorappa, Dr. D. Sudhanwa, and Faculty Dean and senior Professors attended the meeting.
Discussions were held on the overall development of the University. It was also decided to fill up the posts of permanent teachers keeping in mind the interest of the students, and maintaining the teaching quality of the University.
A decision was also taken to undertake more research programs with the support of the sponsored institutions, as part of the higher education. The meeting appreciated the implementation of the new National Education Policy 2020 by the University. The members expressed their view that the establishment of the Career Hub is relevant to the new NEP.
