ಮೈಸೂರು,ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ,24,2022(www.justkannada.in): ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವಿಭಾಗ, ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾನಸ ಗಂಗೋತ್ರಿ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಅಂತರ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪುರುಷರ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಾಡು ಓಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. 38 ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. 101 ಪುರುಷರು ಹಾಗೂ 49 ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾ ಕಣದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಗಂಗೋತ್ರಿ ಆವರಣದಿಂದ ಶುರುವಾದ ಓಟ ನಂತರ ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ವಾಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರವಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ, ಜೆಸಿ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತೆ ಗಂಗೋತ್ರಿ ಗ್ಲೈಡ್ಸ್‌ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು.
ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಣೆ:
ಪುರುಷರ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸುದೇವ ಸೋಮಾನಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಶ ಪ್ರಥಮ, ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪುರುಷೋತ್ತ ಆರ್. ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೋಮಾನಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮಣಿಕಂಠ ಎ.ಪಿ. ತೃತೀಯ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದರು. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿ.ನರಸೀಪುರದ ಪಿಆರ್‌ಎಂ ವಿಜಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಚೈತ್ರಾ, ವಿದ್ಯಾದಯಾ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿನಿ ಕೆ.ಆರ್. ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮೋನಿಕಾ ತೃತೀಯ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದರು. ಟೀಂ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯು ಪಿಆರ್‌ಎಂ ವಿಜಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಬಿಜಿಎಸ್ ಬಿಇಡಿ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಾಗೂ ಟೆರೀಷಿಯನ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ಸಂದಿತು.
ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳ ವಿಶೇಷಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ.ಎಚ್.ಕೆ. ಚೇತನ್, ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಅನಿಟ ವಿಮ್ಹಾ ಬ್ರ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್, ಮೈವಿವಿ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವಿಭಾಗದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಪಿ. ಕೃಷ್ಣಯ್ಯ, ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ.ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಕುರ್ಮಾ ಎಚ್.ಎಸ್.,ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಜಿ.ಎಚ್. ನಾಗರಾಜ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಂಯೋಜನಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ರೇಖಾ ಜಾದವ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರರು ಇದ್ದರು.

UoM VC flags off Inter-College hill marathon
Mysuru, February 24, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Maharaja College, in association with the Physical Education Department, University of Mysore, had organised a hill marathon, on Thursday for College students. Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, flagged off the marathon, in the Manasagangotri campus.
Students of 38 various colleges of Mysuru District took part in the marathon. There were 101 men and 49 women in the competition. The marathon commenced from the Manasagangotri campus and concluded at the same campus, passing through the AIISH and JC college route.
Prizes were distributed to the winners at a program held later. Dr. H.K. Chetan, Special Officer to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Anita Vimha Bracks, Principal, Maharaja College, Dr. P. Krishnaiah, Director, Physical Education Department, University of Mysore, Dr. Krishna Kumar H.S., Assistant Director, Prof. G.H. Nagaraja, Administrative Officer, Maharaja College, Rekha Jadhav, Program Coordinator and others were present.
