ಮೈಸೂರು: ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15,2021(www.justkannada.in): ದೇಶದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದುಡಿದು ಮಡಿದ ಮಹನೀಯರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲಿದಾನವನ್ನು ನೆನೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೃದಯದಾಳದ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ ಜಿ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಕ್ರಾಫರ್ಡ್ ಹಾಲ್ ಮುಂಭಾಗದ ಆಜಾದಿ ಕಾ ಅಮೃತ್ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ್-75ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ವದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾರಣ ಇದು ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ಆಡಳಿತದಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಅನೇಕ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು ಮಾಡಿದ ತ್ಯಾಗವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಮಸೂದೆಯನ್ನು ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ಹೌಸ್ ಆಫ್ ಕಾಮನ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜುಲೈ 4 1947ರಂದು ಮಂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹದಿನೈದು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15ರಂದು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊನೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆದಾದ ನಂತರ ಭಾರತವು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ದೇಶವಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಾತಿನಿಧ್ಯತೆ:
ಕೋವಿಡ್-19 ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ಪಿಡುಗು ವಿಶ್ವದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಪಸರಿಸಿ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನೆ ಕಂಗೆಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಲಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಿದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಚಿನ್ನ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಕಂಚು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 7 ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಿಂದಲೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಒಲಂಪಿಕ್ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ, ದೇಶದ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವರ್ಷಪೂರ್ತಿ ಅಜಾದಿ ಕಾ ಅಮೃತ್ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ್
75ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಾದ್ಯಂತ ಆಜಾದಿ ಕಾ ಅಮೃತ್ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಸುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಕರೆಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಂತೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವರ್ಷಪೂರ್ತಿ ಆಚರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ-2020
ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರಕಾರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಭಾರತ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಬಹುದು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವೂ ಸಿಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಸುಸ್ಥಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಜ್ಞಾನ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ, ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಅಂತರ್ ಶಿಸ್ತೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಬಹುಶಿಸ್ತೀಯ ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಮೊದಲು-ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮೊದಲು
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಮೊದಲು-ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮೊದಲು ಎಂಬುದು 75ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಥೀಮ್. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅದರಂತೆ ನಾವು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಉಜ್ವಲ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸೋಣ. ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಶಿಸಿದರು.

UoM VC reminisces sacrifices of freedom fighters on 75th I-Day celebrations
Mysuru, August 15, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “Independence Day is observed to recall and offer our gratitude to all those great leaders who laid down their lives for our independence,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
He hoisted the national flag in front of the Crawford Hall today to observe the 75th Independence Day. In his address, he said, “the Indian Independence Day is very significant, as it remembers us all the sacrifices of thousands of freedom fighters who laid down the lives for the country and independence from Britishers. The Indian Independence Bill was announced on July 4, 1947, the British House of Commons, and it was approved within 15 days. The British rule came to an end on August 15, 1947, bringing us freedom,” he explained.
On the occasion, he recalled the achievements of the sports achievers in the Olympics and urged the youth to excel in sports and bring laurels to the country. He explained that the University of Mysore always encourages excellent sports talent and provides all the required support for achievers.
“As per the instructions of the Prime Minister the 75th Independence Day which is being celebrated as ‘Azadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav’ (Platinum Jubilee) will be observed the whole year.”
On the occasion, he observed that the New Education Policy introduced by the Govt. of India would enable everyone to get quality education and helps build a knowledgeable society.
