Mysuru, August 24, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Preparations for the historic Mysuru Dasara have already begun. The popular Mysuru Dasara exhibition will begin from September 26 this year.
Addressing a press meet in Mysuru today, Karnataka Exhibition Authority Chairman Mirle Srinivasamurthy informed that the dasara exhibition will be held for 90 days along with several special programs. A sand museum in memory of Sandalwood’s power star Puneeth Rajkumar will be organized at the Dasara exhibition, with Yoga 3D video mapping.
Vegetarian and non vegetarian food stalls will be there. The sand museum will include replicas of 6 freedom fighters in sand. However, the six freedom fighters names are yet to be finalized. Kaveri Multimedia Art Gallery will be inaugurated.
The Dasara Exhibition grounds has been announced as plastic free zone and hence plastic usage has been prohibited. The Authority will make arrangements to provide an RO plant for drinking water purpose, and to prevent plastic usage. Plans have been made to conduct the Dasara exhibition this year in a grand manner, as it was not possible to run the exhibition for the last two years due to Covid. Srinivasgowda has also urged the people to come and see the exhibition in large numbers.
