Mysuru, May 3, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Following allegations that due to non-fulfillment of the required amount of oxygen cylinders from Mysuru 23 people lost their lives at the Chamarajanagara District Hospital, the District Administration of Mysuru has given its clarification.
According to the information provided by the District Administration of Mysuru, 250 oxygen cylinders were sent to Chamarajanagara at 12.30 midnight. Additional oxygen cylinders were supposed to arrive from Ballari, but we are not sure whether it has been delivered or not. However, on a humanitarian basis, we have sent the oxygen cylinders to Chamarajanagara.
The Mysuru District Administration has not delayed in sending the oxygen cylinders. We have documents about sending it at the midnight. While 210 cylinders were dispatched from the Southern Gas in Mysuru, 40 cylinders were dispatched from the Mysuru District Hospital to Chamarajanagara.
