ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜುಲೈ ೨೪, ೨೦೨೧ (www.justkannada.in): ಭಾರತದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ತಲೆ ಎತ್ತಿವೆ. ಈ ಪೈಕಿ ಹಲವು ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮೀರಿಸಿ ಗಟ್ಟಿನೆಲೆ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿವೆ. ಒರಿಸ್ಸಾ, ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು, ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ, ಆಂಧ್ರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಹಾಗೂ ತೆಲಂಗಾಣ, ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಾದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿವೆ.
ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳ, ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇರಳ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ದೇಶದ ಐದು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆದಂತಹ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳ ನಂತರ ಮುನ್ನೆಲೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿವೆ.
ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ಚಾಣಕ್ಯರೆಂದೇ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುವ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ ಅವರ ಅವಿರತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳೂ ಸೋತಿವೆ. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಹುಲಿ ಎಂದೇ ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಮಮತಾ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ಜಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನೆಲಕಚ್ಚಿತು. ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಜನರೂ ಸಹ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಡಿಎಂಕೆ ಅಥವಾ ಎಐಡಿಎಂಕೆಯಂತಹ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಒಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದು ಮುಂಚಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿಷಯವೇ. ದೇಶದ ಅತೀ ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿರುವ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಪಕ್ಷವಾದ ಡಿಎಂಕೆಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿರುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕೇರಳ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಹ ಎಡ ಪಂಥೀಯ ಮುಂದಾಳತ್ವದ ಎಲ್‌ಡಿಎಫ್‌ಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅನೇಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಆದರೆ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಹಾಗೂ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಜನರ ತೀರ್ಪು, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಚುಕ್ಕಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿರುವ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಪಕ್ಷವಾಗಿರುವ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಸ್ವಂತ ನೆಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಫಲವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು, ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡು-ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ಬಹುಮತ ಲಭಿಸದೆ ಸಮ್ಮಿಶ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಚಿಸಲು ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಪಕ್ಷದ ವರಿಷ್ಠರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣವೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಬಹುಪಾಲು ಜನರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಒಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದೇ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹುಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರಣ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ತೆಲುಗು ದೇಶಂ, ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಕಾನ್ಫರೆನ್ಸ್, ಪಿಡಿಪಿ, ಬಿಜೆಡಿ, ಆರ್‌ಜೆಡಿ, ಸಮಾಜವಾದಿ ಪಾರ್ಟಿಗಳಂತಲ್ಲದೆ, ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ೩೦ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡದಿರುವುದು ಇದೇ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಾಲಿ ವಾತಾವರಣದಡಿ ಮತದಾರರು ಕುಟುಂಬ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳು ಗೋಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ, ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗಟ್ಟುವ ಅಭಿಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲ್ಲೀನವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ತಮ್ಮದಲ್ಲದಿರುವ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಖುರ್ಚಿಗೆ ಯಾರು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಎಂಬ ಕಿತ್ತಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್‌ನ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ. ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ೨೦೨೩ರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷವೇ ಬಹುಮತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅವರ ಕನಸು ನನಸಾಗುವುದೋ? ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ. ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ದಿವಂಗತ ಎನ್.ಟಿ. ರಾಮಾರಾವ್, ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಎಂ.ಜಿ. ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರನ್, ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ರಾವ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಗನ್ ಮೋಹನ್ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಅವರಂತೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ರುಜುವಾತುಗೊಳಿಸುವರೋ, ಕಾದು ನೋಡಬೇಕಿದೆ.

ENGLISH SUMMARY :
Several Regional Parties have emerged on the Indian political landscape across the country and some of them have of succeeded in rising themselves as ruling parties ousting national parties. In case of states like Odisa, Tamil Nadu, Jammu and Kashmir,
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the people have permanently shut doors to Congress and BJP.
The role and prominence of regional outfits has shot into full bright lime light in the aftermath of assembly elections held in five states including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Despite all out efforts by two self claimed poll chanakyas of BJP– Prime minister Mr Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, their electoral tricks failed to impress the electorate. While it was a humiliating crushing defeat for BJP at the hands of Bengal Tigress Mamata Banerjer in West Bengal, people of Tamil Nadu who find their pride in ruling by regional parties, DMK or AIADMK, once again asserted themselves and elected DMK to role the one of the largest states’ of India.
Of course, Kerala threw a surprise chanting once more to Left Front led LDF.
However, the verdict of people of Tamil Nadu and West Bengal has ebbed confidence of several regional parties, including JDS in Karnataka, which have been dreaming for power.
In Karnataka, JDS has been eyeing hung assembly verdict to taste power in coalition arrangement not has not been able to come to power on its own.
The reason for the failure of JDS yo grow across Karnataka seemed to lie in its power hierarchy, as it remained controlled by a a family.
Unlike Telugu Desam, National Conference, PDP, BJD, RJD, Samajwadi Party. JDS couldn’t even find space across all the thirty districts as a force to reckon with in Karnataka.
Going by mood of electorate hitherto in Karnataka, there is no sight of people preferring a family controlled party to rule them, unless, JDS witnessed a revolution of sorts making its acceptability to all.
While ruling BJP is immersed in oust Yediyurappa campaign, Congress leaders are engaged in fighting for nom-existant CM chair. In the midst of these developments, former Chief minister and permanent JDS CM nominee H D Kumaraswamy dreaming that it will be his party’s turn to rule Karnataka on its own strength in 2023 election.
Let us wait and see whether Kumaraswamy will step into the shoes of NT Ramarao, M G Ramachandran, Chandrasekhar Rao and Jagan Mohan Reddy.
