Mysuru, December 31, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Restrictions have been imposed at several tourist places across the state in the wake of the new year. However, entry to the Chamundeshwari temple atop the Chamundi hills, in Mysuru is thrown open on the new year day.
Devotees can visit and have the darshan of Goddess Chamundeshwari on the occasion of new year’s day. The temple authorities have expected a huge crowd on new year’s day. Arrangements have also been made to provide a special darshan for Rs. 300 per ticket, which will be available for two days.
The Rs.300 ticket is introduced, along with the Rs. 100 and Rs. 30 tickets for new year’s day. Devotees who buy Rs. 300 ticket will get laddus, according to the temple authorities.
