Bengaluru, Nov. 19, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): “Karnataka is on the right track and moving fast towards development under the Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat programmes which are the brainchild of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We have an aim to achieve 300 billion dollar digital economy in the next five years,” opined IT-BT Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayan.
He addressed the gathering at the inauguration function of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS)-2020, held at Bengaluru on Sunday. Presently Karnataka has crossed the 52 billion dollar digital economy mark. Our government has taken all the necessary measures to reach our aim in the next five years, he said.
“Karnataka is all set to contribute to the one trillion dollar digital economy as aspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The State Government has made necessary improvements in all the sectors including IT-BT and we are sure we will achieve it,” he added.
