ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ,16,2021(www.justkannada.in): ವೈದ್ಯರು ಪ್ರತಿ ರೋಗಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರಂತೆ ಕಂಡು ಸೇವೆ ನೀಡಿದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಸೇವೆ ನೀಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ 3 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ವೈದ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಬಂದಾಗ ಹೇಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪ್ರತಿ ರೋಗಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಮಂಡಿಸಲಿರುವ ಬಜೆಟ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಸಹಕಾರ ಅತಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ. ಶೇ.70 ರಷ್ಟು ಜನರು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದು, 20-25% ರಷ್ಟು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ವೈದ್ಯರು ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕಿವಿಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮೇಲ್ದರ್ಜೆಗೇರಿಸಲು ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ಬಾರಿ 2.3 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಶೇ.137 ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಜೀವನ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಾಲೇಜು ಜೀವನದ ಬಳಿಕ ಹೊರಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಾಲಿಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮುಗಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮುಗಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಅಧ್ಯಯನ, ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರ ಜೀವನದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ವೈದ್ಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಧೈರ್ಯ ತೋರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು ಎಂದರು.
ಈಗ ನಾವು ಕೊರೊನಾದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕೊರೊನಾ ಸೋಂಕು ಆರಂಭದ 10 ತಿಂಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಲಸಿಕೆ ದೊರೆತಿದ್ದು, ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

If doctors treat patients like their kin, public healthcare sector will be able to meet the expectations of common man, said Health and Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar.
Addressing the students at the graduation day ceremony of the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute Dr.K.Sudhakar said that there are about 3 lakh staff serving in Health Department. But the service provided at Government hospitals is perceived to be not upto the mark. Doctors can change this perception if they serve with dedication and treat each patient as their kin, said the Minister.
Health sector will be a major focus area in the upcoming state budget that will be presented by CM BSY. Doctors will play a big role in realising the Govt’s dream of building an Arogya Karnataka. More than 70% of our population reside in rural areas and 20-25% of the health facilities are in rural areas. Young medical professionals should come forward to serve in rural areas, Minister appealed to graduating students.
Health sector has been a priority for our State Govt. We have started an initiative to revamp and upgrade our PHCs, which are the buidling blocks of our public healthcare system. Union Govt in its budget has allocated Rs.2.3 lakh crores for health sector which is an increase of 137% from previous year.
Student Life is a crucial period in everyone’s life. Now you are stepping into the real world. But your learning should not stop here. Learning, research and innovation should be always part of your life. The role of doctors in fighting the pandemic has been commendable and I appreciate their efforts, said the Minister.
It is a matter of great pride that India could develop and manufacture vaccine for Covid-19 within 10 months. So far we have vaccinated 5 lakh healthcare workers and frontline workers in the state, added the Minister.
