New Delhi, November 8, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Hon’ble President of India Ram Nath Kovind today gave a Padma Awards to several achievers.
The program was held at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan. A total number of 119 people won the Padma awards this year, which includes 7 Padmavibhushan, 10 Padmabhushan, and 102 Padmashri awards.

• Tulasi Govindegowda, Environmentalist
• M.P. Prakash, former Hockey player
Padma awards were also given to former Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Olympian P.V. Sindhu, actor Kangana Ranaut. Sushma Swaraj was bestowed with the Padmabhushan award posthumously. Her daughter Bansuri Swaraj received the award from the Hon’ble President Ram Nath Kovind.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other dignitaries were present.
