ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜ.20, 2020 : (www.justkannada.in news ) ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ. ಹೇಮಂತ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ಕಿಂಗ್‌ಡಂನ ಮ್ಯಾಂಚೆಸ್ಟರ್‌ನ ಸಾಲ್ಫೋರ್ಡ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಹನ ನಡೆಸಲು ನಾಳೆಯಿಂದ 5 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜನವರಿ 22 ರಿಂದ 24 ರವರೆಗೆ ಸಾಲ್ಫೋರ್ಡ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಈ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕ್ರಿಯಾ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಲ್ಫೋರ್ಡ್ ಯುಕೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಸಂಭವನೀಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ. ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು, ಬಯೋಕೆಮಿಸ್ಟ್ರಿ, ಮೈಕ್ರೋಬಯಾಲಜಿ, ಫಾರ್ಮಾಸ್ಯುಟಾಲ್ಕಿಮೆಸ್ಟ್ರಿ, ಆಣ್ವಿಕ ಜೀವಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ, ರೊಬೊಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಸಹಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸುವರು.
ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಂಡಳಿ 2020 ರ ಜನವರಿ 22 ರಿಂದ 24 ರವರೆಗೆ ಯುಕೆ ಮ್ಯಾಂಚೆಸ್ಟರ್‌ನ ಸಾಲ್ಫೋರ್ಡ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುವ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜೆ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಸಾಲ್ಫೋರ್ಡ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಹನ ನಡೆಸಲು ಮ್ಯಾಂಚೆಸ್ಟರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಲ್ಫೋರ್ಡ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಸಹಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿರುವ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಯಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜೆ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿತ್ತು.
ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವಿತ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಲಾಗುವುದು . ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭೇಟಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿತ್ತು.

Hemantha Kumar Vice Chancellor University of Mysore as nominated by Karnataka State Higher Education Council to interact with President and Officers of University of Salford, Manchester, United Kingdom with regard to the MOU entered between KSHEC Bangalore, University of Salford Manchester UK. He will be attending the meeting at Salford UK with team that will be held from 22nd to 24th of January at Manchester UK , in meeting he will be presenting with plan of action and possible area of coleboration with University of Salford UK which will be implemented in University of Mysore. UOM has proposed the collaboration in following areas of research and summer schools, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutalchimestry, Molecular Biology, Robotics and Artificial intelligence.
As per the directions of Karnataka State Higher Education Council, Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, Vice Chancellor, University of Mysore, Mysuru is visiting the University of Salford, UK from 20.01.2020 to 25.01.2020 (including journey days) to have interaction with the Vice chancellor and other officers of the University
