ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜೂ.24, 2019 : (www.justkannada.in news) : ಸಿಂಗಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿರುವ ‘ ಇಂಟರ್ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಕಾನ್ಫರೆನ್ಸ್ ಆನ್ ಮೆಟಿರಿಯಲ್ಸ್ ಫಾರ್ ಆಡ್ವಾನ್ಸ್ಡ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ ‘ ( International Conference on Materials for Advanced Technologies – ICMAT) ವಿಚಾರಸಂಕಿರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತ ಕುಲಪತಿ, ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ಸ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ.ಕೆ.ಎಸ್.ರಂಗಪ್ಪ ಸೋಮವಾರ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಜೂ.23 ರಿಂದ 28 ರ ವರೆಗೂ ಸಿಂಗಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವಿಚಾರಸಂಕಿರಣ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇಂದು ನಡೆದ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಕೆ.ಎಸ್.ರಂಗಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ‘ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ’ ಕುರಿತಾದ ‘ DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR BIOMEDICAL AND CONSUMER CARE APPLICATIONS’ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿಶ್ವದ ಹಲವಾರು ದೇಶಗಳ ಸುಮಾರು 3,500 ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, 45 ಟೆಕ್ನಿಕಲ್ ಸಿಂಪೋಸಿಯಮ್ಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ 10 ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿಗಧಿಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಜತೆಗೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲುವ ಒರಲ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಪ್ರಸೆಂಟೇಷನ್ ಗೂ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆಯಷ್ಟೆ ಪ್ರೊ.ಕೆ.ಎಸ್. ರಂಗಪ್ಪ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ತಂಡದ ‘ Targeting Heparanase in Cancer ‘ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಶೋಧನ ಲೇಖನ iScience ನಿಯತಕಾಲೀಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಐಸೈನ್ಸ್ ನಿಯತಕಾಲೀಕೆ ಅನ್ನು ಸೆಲ್ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸೆಲ್ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನಾಲಯ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯಗಳಿಂದ (ಪ್ರಾಯಶಃ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯಗಳಿಂದಲೂ) ಐಸೈನ್ಸ್ ನಿಯತಕಾಲೀಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಪ್ರೊ.ಕೆ.ಎಸ್.ರಂಗಪ್ಪ ಅಂಡ್ ಟೀಮ್ ಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ.

Encouraged by the success of the International Conference on Materials for Advanced Technologies (ICMAT) series held since 2001 and the impact it has created among the materials science and engineering research community both in the region and elsewhere, the Materials Research Society of Singapore (MRS-S) will be organizing the 10th edition of the conference series from 23 to 28 June 2019 in Singapore.
