New Delhi, Jan. 26, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The farmers’ protest against the Govt. of India’s new farm laws has intensified. The protestors farmers sieged the Red Fort in Delhi.
Thousands of farmers who organised a tractor rally today covered the Red Fort and hoisted the Kisan Union Flag. This is the first time such an incident has happened. The farmers expressed their fury against the Central government, by shouting slogans against government. The police had a tough time stopping them.
The protestors even turned violent and attacked the police after police used tear gas on them at the Ghazipura border. Though the police tried to stop them at the Singhu and Ghazipur border, they couldn’t do so. The protestors were angered as the police tried to stop them by putting barricades. The police even had to lathicharge to control them. The protesting farmers have warned the Central Government that their protest would not stop until the new farm laws are withdrawn and have threatened to intensify their stir.
