Bengaluru, Nov. 17, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Byelection for the Rajyasabha seat that has become vacant following the death of Ashok Gasti will be held on December 1. BJP has selected Dr. K. Narayan of Mangalore as the party Rajyasabha candidate.
It can be recalled here that Rajyasabha member from BJP Ashok Gasti expired due to Corona earlier this year. In fact the BJPs move has caused surprise among many. Narayan belongs to Devanga community.
