ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಅ.31, 2019 : (www.justkannada.in news) : ಈ ಸಾಲಿನ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ , ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರದ ಧೋರಣೆ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉಚ್ಛ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೆ ಹೂಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಎಂ/ಎಸ್ ಪ್ರಭಾತ್ ಆರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಇಂಟರ್ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್, ಕೆ.ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜಯ ಸಂಕೇಶ್ವರ ಅವರ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೆ ಹೂಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ವಿಜಯನಗರದ ನಿವಾಸಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿ ಕೇಶವ ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಎಂಬುವವರೇ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾನದಂಡ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರಿರುವರು. ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ನಿರುಪಮ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಎಂ/ಎಸ್ ಪ್ರಭಾತ್ ಆರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಇಂಟರ್ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಜತೆ ಒಡನಾಟ ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರು. ಜತೆಗೆ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಸಚಿವರೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಆಪ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ವಿಜಯ ಸಂಕೇಶ್ವರ್ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯವರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇವರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಬೇರೆಯದೇ ಮಾನದಂಡ ಬಳಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರರ ವಾದ.
ನಾಳೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನ :
ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಾಳೆ (ನ.1 ರಂದು) ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು 64 ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರೇ ಖುದ್ದು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಾಡುವರು.

ENGLISH SUMMARY :
A petition in the has challenged the Rajyotsava Awards announced last week. In particular the petition challenges the award to M/s Prabath Arts International, K Prakash Shetty and Vijay Sankeshwar. It alleges that one of the committee members who chose the awards,
is related to the first organisation while Shetty is close to a minister and Sankeshwar is a BJP member. The petition also alleges that many of those selected for the awards are close to the ruling BJP party.
The petition is by Keshavagopal, a resident of Vijayanagar, who claims he too was one of the aspirants for the Award. Close to 1,500 applications for the awards were scrutinised by a committee which finally selected 64 names for the Awards to commemorate the 64 years of the unification of the State.
