Mysuru, December 2, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The World Academy of Sciences (IWAS), Italy, a subsidiary of UNESCO has bestowed a Fellowship on former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mysore Prof. K.S. Rangappa.
Prof. K.S. Rangappa, is invovled in research works for four decades. The Academy has made him a fellow recognizing his achievements in the field of science. Prof. K.S. Rangappa was the only scientist elected from India in 2022, which is a matter of pride. He is also the first to get a fellowship from the University in Karnataka, which is worth noticing.
Prof. Rangappa’s articles is published in more than 150 International journals and possesses 11 patents, out of which two patents have been commercialized. All his scientific evidence were considered to give him fellowship. Prof. Rangappa is now eligible to mention FTWAS, in front of his name.
