ಮೈಸೂರು, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ೨೩, ೨೦೨೧ (www.justkannada.in): ರೋಟರಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನರ್‌ವ್ಹೀಲ್ ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ಉಚಿತ ಕೃತಕ ಅಂಗಾಂಗಗಳ ವಿತರಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ರೋಟರಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ಕಳೆದ ೨೩ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವಿಶೇಷಚೇತನರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಕ ಅಂಗಾಂಗಳನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನೀಡುವ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದೆ. ಈವರೆಗೂ ರೋಟರಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ಕೃತಕ ಅಂಗಾಂಗಗಳ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ೭,೦೦೦ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕೃತಕ ಅಂಗಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದೆ.
ಇಂದು ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃತಕ ಅಂಗಾಂಗಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವುಳ್ಳ ಆರು ಮಂದಿ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೃತಕ ಅಂಗಾಂಗ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರ ಬಾಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಶವನ್ನೂ ರೋಟರಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿತು.
ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಟರಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರನ್ ರಾಜೇ ಅರಸ್, ರವಿಶಂಕರ್, ರೋಟೇರಿಯನ್ ಸುನಿಲ್, ಇನ್ನರ್‌ವ್ಹೀಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಗೌರಿ ಗೋಕುಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನರ್‌ವ್ಹೀಲ್‌ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸಾ ಇರಾನಿ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

One of the first thoughts that comes to our mind, when someone loses a Limb, is that their life is ruined. Rotary Mysore has been involved in Limb donation for more the 23 years and has donated over 7000 Limbs through the Rotary Mysore artificial Limb centre.
Today the Rotary Club Mysore in association with Inner Wheel Club Mysore are glad to extend a helping hand to the 6 beneficiaries who arrived with a Limp, and left with a Limb ready to take a big Leap into their new lives.
