Chikkaballapura, November 2, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “Due to the incessant rains that are lashing the state from the last few days has caused huge havoc at several places. While several farmers have lost their crops, several people have lost their houses which were destroyed due to the heavy rains. Hence, we have decided to provide a sum of Rs. 5 lakh for every family which has lost a house,” opined Dr. K. Sudhakar, Health and Medical Education Minister.
He visited several places in Chikkaballapura District where heavy rains have caused a lot of damage to property and crops. He visited several places, which are inundated in rainwater, and also visited the Kandawara tank, which has reached a dangerous level.
Speaking to the press persons later, Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar said, “We haven’t witnessed such huge rains in the last 50 years. I have also not seen this type of rain since my childhood. While I feel happy on one hand the rains have made all of us feel bad because many people are facing a lot of trouble.”
However, he said the State Government and the District Administration is ready to extend all kind of support to the people who are in trouble.
