ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 20,2021(www.justkannada.in): ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರಿಗೆ ಏಳು ರೋಗಗಳು ಬಾರದಂತೆ ತಡೆಯಲು ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 22 ರವರೆಗೆ ಇಂದ್ರಧನುಷ್ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್, 2 ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರಿಗೆ 13 ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಇಂದ್ರಧನುಷ್ 3.0 ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 22 ರಿಂದ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 22 ರವರೆಗೆ ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಈವರೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಲಾಗದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 2014 ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 25 ರಂದು ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಅಟಲ್ ಬಿಹಾರಿ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿ ಜನ್ಮದಿಂದ ಈ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ 2017 ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 8 ರಂದು ಇಂಟೆನ್ಸಿಫೈಡ್ ಮಿಷನ್ ಇಂದ್ರಧನುಷ್ ಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಮುಂದಿನ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ 3.0 ಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ. ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ಬಣ್ಣಗಳಿರುವಂತೆಯೇ, ಇಂದ್ರಧನುಷ್ ಏಳು ರೋಗಗಳು ಬಾರದಂತೆ ತಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಡಿಫ್ತೀರಿಯಾ, ವೂಫಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಫ್, ಟೆಟಾನಸ್, ಟ್ಯುಬರ್ ಕ್ಯುಲೋಸಿಸ್, ಪೋಲಿಯೋ, ಮಿಸಲ್ಸ್, ಹೆಪಟೈಟಸ್ ಗೆ ಬಿಗೆ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿ, ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ, ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ, ಬೀದರ್, ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಗದಗ, ಕಲಬುರ್ಗಿ, ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ, ರಾಯಚೂರು, ವಿಜಯಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಲಸಿಗರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಸ್ಲಂ, ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸುಡುವ ಜಾಗ, ಅಲೆಮಾರಿಗಳು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಸ್ಥಳ, ಕಟ್ಟಡ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಸ್ಥಳ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.

Bengaluru, February 20, 2021: Covid vaccination is must for all health and front line warriors to prevent outbreak of second wave of Covid-19 in the state, Chief Minister himself will be issuing the instructions regarding this, said Health & Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar. He was speaking to the media here on Saturday.
PM Narendra Modi Government is providing free of cost vaccination to all. There is no reason for any one to hesitate from taking vaccine. All staff of every department should take the shot, Chief Minister will be giving a video message shortly urging the employees to take the shot, said the Minister.
Severity of the infection will be reduced after the vaccination thereby reducing the mortality rate. Public should strictly follow the guidelines, people should restrict large gatherings during marriage and other functions. Said Dr.Sudhakar.
We are observing strict measures to prevent second wave. The Brazil variant is not reported in our country. Covid is gradually decreasing , but nonetheless we need to be cautious said Dr.Sudhakar. On the measures taken to restrict entry from other states the Minister said that since number of cases increased in the neighbouring states like Kerala and Maharashtra and there are all possibilities that same may happen here. Therefore orders have been issued to passengers entering from those states to compulsorily have a RTPCR negative report while entering our state. District administrations of border districts have been asked to take necessary action in this regard, said the Minister.
A video conference will be held with DCs of all districts regrading further measures to be taken in the state. If we succeed in preventing the second wave then question of lock down doesn’t arise, he added.
