Mysuru, Mar. 20, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) Commissioner Dr. Natesh today presented the 2021-22 budget. He announced several programs for the development of Mysuru City and also informed that MUDA has aimed to mobilize a sum of Rs. 1,46,885.77 lakh during the 2021-22 financial year.
MUDA has the aim of spending a sum of Rs. 1,08,311.10 lakh for various developmental activities in this financial year. The 2021-22 budget is an Rs.38,574.67 lakh surplus savings budget. A multi-storied residential complex, temporary residential arrangements for migratory workers near Belavatta Village were announced. MUDA will spend an amount at the ratio of 50:50 for the development of the layout.
Priority is given to the development of roads. A sum of Rs. 2,400 lakhs has been reserved for the development of 14 various roads and a sum of Rs. 400 lakh grants have been provided for the development of various tanks that come under MUDA limits. A comprehensive plan to provide drinking water to all the MUDA layouts is included in this year’s MUDA budget.
MLA G.T. Devegowda, Harshavardhan, MLCs Sandesh Nagaraj, K.T. Srikantegowda, Martibbegowda, Dharmasena, and MUDA members were present at the budget meeting.
