Mysuru, Feb. 24, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy today informed that former CM Siddaramaiah is directly responsible for the failure in coalition with the Congress in the Mysore City Corporation Mayoral elections.
Speaking to the media regarding the Mayor, Deputy Mayor elections for the Mysore City Corporation, former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy said that the coalition broke just because of the words of Siddaramaiah. “We had a coalition with the Congress last time also by leaving the Mayor post under pressure. This time coalition has not been possible because of his words. We won’t go with anybody. We also will submit a nomination, let us see who will get the opportunity to become Mayor,” he said.
“H.D. Devegowda has however refused coalition with anybody, he has asked to maintain distance with both the parties. Hence, we won’t have a coalition with anyone. Both the parties have meted out injustice to us. Hence, the time has come for us to show our strength. We have to pump confidence in our party activists. Hence we have taken this decision, he informed.
