Mysuru, Feb. 20, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “It appears all the castes are fighting to enter in the list of social justice. Social justice discussions should provide food for the hungry, it shouldn’t make a non-worker get the benefit,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
He inaugurated a special lecture programme on the occasion of ‘International Social Justice Day’, organized by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Research and Extension Centre and Development Research Institute, held at the Vishwagnani Auditorium in Manasagantori campus today.
“There can’t be peace where there is no justice. Citizen awareness is required for social justice. Ambedkar in the Constitution meeting. Everyone should understand this,” he explained.
“Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was a person who provided a legal frame for social justice by propagating that social justice is not alms, it is a human right,” he added.
