Mysuru, June 16, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): “Irrespective of the stream of graduation, the students require special skills to start working in big companies,” observed Prof. R. Shivappa, Registrar, University of Mysore.
He inaugurated a special lecture program on the topic, “Campus to Corporate,” held at the Rani Bahaddur Auditorium in the Manasa Gangotri campus, organized by the University Industry Interaction Center of the University of Mysore. In his address, he said, “connecting the students with the company and industrial activities is one of the major tasks of the University. The Campus to Corporate program fulfils this purpose.”
“The students should be aware of the results of the team work. Hence, they should take part in the team work while learning. You should also develop capability in explaining what they have learnt, in an effective way in, respective language. You should also develop unity and confidence, along with non-technical skills,” he advised.
