ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ- ಜೂ,12,2020(www.justkannada.in): ವಿಮ್ಸ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು ಟಾರ್ಗೆಟ್ ಫಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು, ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿದ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿ ಸಾಧಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಅವರು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿಜಯನಗರ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ವಿಮ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಾನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಇತ್ತ ಕಡೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಗಲು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ 1200 ಹೊರರೋಗಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ 600 ಒಳರೋಗಿಗಳು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕವಾಗಿ 46 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಎಬಿಆರ್ ಕೆ ಹಣ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ವಿಮ್ಸ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ, ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ 2500ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೊರರೋಗಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 1000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಒಳರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೇವಲ 49 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ ಎಬಿಆರ್ ಕೆ ಹಣ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 100 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಎಬಿಆರ್ ಕೆ ಹಣ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಗಾ ವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್. ಆನಂದ್ ಸಿಂಗ್,ಡಿಸಿ ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ನಕುಲ್, ವಿಮ್ಸ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ.ದೇವಾನಂದ್ ಮತ್ತಿತ್ತರರು ಇದ್ದರು.
ಜುಲೈ.15ಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬಿ,ಎಸ್,ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪನವರಿಂದ ವಿಮ್ಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ರಾಮಾಕೇರ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ:-
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 150 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಟ್ರಾಮಾಕೇರ್ ಸೆಂಟರನ್ನು ಜುಲೈ-15 ರಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪನವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಮಾಗಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ವಿಮ್ಸ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಭರ್ತಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಕೋರ್ಟ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತಡೆಯಾಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ವಿಮ್ಸ್ ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೊರೋನಾ ವೈರಸ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಐಎಲ್‍ಐಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವವರೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಐಎಲ್‍ಐ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ವೈದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಅವರು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ವಿಮ್ಸ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಕೊರೋನಾ ವೈರಸ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 60 ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಶೀತ, ಕೆಮ್ಮು, ಜ್ವರದಂತ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಫಿವರ್ ಕ್ಲಿನಿಕಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಿದ್ದು. ಗುಣಮುಖರಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಶೇ 97ರಷ್ಟು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೋಗ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿಲ್ಲ. ಉಳಿದ ಶೇ 3 ರಷ್ಟು ಸೋಂಕಿತರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ವಿಶೇಷ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಕೋವಿಡ್ -19 ಕುರಿತು ಪರಿಣಿತರು ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅಧ್ಯಯನದ ಪೈಕಿ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಹೆಚ್ಚಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಿದ್ದತೆಯನ್ನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಜನತೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

People with symptoms of ILI and SARI are more vulnerable for Covid infection and must immediately get tested for COVID19, said Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar. Addressing a press conference at Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences here on Friday, the Minister aid that as monsoon has set in, people aged more than 60 years and suffering from ILI and SARI type symptoms must take extra precautions get tested themselves at nearby fever clinics. There are more than 3000 active cases in the state and more than 97% of them are asymptomatic.
Dr Sudhakar said as per expert committee report, the number of cases will increase by August end and said state government was preparing for the worst case scenario.
Holding a review meeting of Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences the Minister said that the department will set targets on monthly basis. All Medical Institutes have to achieve the target within the stipulated time and defaulters will be dealt severely.

*Steps to increase staff at VIMS8
Since there is stay order from the court for recruitment of staff at VIMS, the Minister has assured to get cleared as early as possible and necessary steps will also be taken to recruit adequate number of staff at the institute. The Minister said he will ensure a well-equipped hospital in two-three months. The Minister also urged hospital officials to get more fund from ABRK.
VIMS is serving more than 3500 patients per day and should have claimed more ABRK funds to develop its infrastructure, Dr Sudhakar added.
Trauma Care Centre at VIMS
Dr.Sudhakar said that, newly constructed Trauma care centre at VIMS will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister on July 15th. He urged the officials to complete the pending work of 150 Crore trauma care unit.
He Instructed the Director Medical Education Dr. Girish to ensure centralised supply of medicines and drugs to the hospital. Answering the question that VIMS doctors are working at private clinics, the Minister has assured that strict action will be initiated against such doctors if they found guilty.
