Mysuru, May 13, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy today observed that the State is witnessing good rainfall since the beginning of the ‘Janatha Jaladhare’ program by the JDS party.
He visited the Chamundi hills in Mysuru today to have the darshan of goddess Chamundeshwari and seek blessings for the success of the ‘Janatha Jaladhare’ program.
MLA Sa. Ra. Mahesh, Manjegowda, and other local activists accompanied him. Speaking on the occasion, the former CM informed that he prayed to the goddess Chamundeshwari for the success of the ‘Janatha Jaladhare’ program that is held at Bengaluru today. “The program will become successful from the blessings of the goddess. We are creating awareness among the people about the various irrigation projects and the JDS party’s pledge to implement all the dream irrigation projects of the party. The State is also witnessing good rainfall since we commenced the program, which is a good omen,” he said.
In his reply to a question, he said, “We are yet to officially announce the names of the candidates for the election. We will decide this after discussing it with the party supremo H.D. Devegowda. Already our party candidates have started the election work. A capable candidate will be fielded from the Chamundeshwari constituency in Mysuru.”
