Mysuru, Nov. 17, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Following reopening of degree colleges across the state following government instructions, the illustrious Maharani College in Mysuru has also reopened. Covid-19 tests are being conducted for all the students, lecturers and non-teaching staff. Students were found undergoing tests by standing in a queue in the College premises today morning.
There are more than 1000 students pursuing final year degree in this college, whereas only 10 of them attended today. This shows the fear of Covid-19 pandemic still existing among the students. While the lecturers have expressed their view that the attendance would increase gradually in the coming days.
MCC Health Officer Dr. Nagaraj visited the Maharani College and inspected the ongoing Covid testing and ensured that all the students and others are wearing masks and carrying sanitizers.
