Bengaluru, November 18, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar today demanded the State Government to arrest the persons who are behind the voters list illegalities, by tomorrow afternoon. He has demanded the arrest of all those who are behind this.
“The Chief Minister has spoken lightly about the voters list issue. It is not correct to do so. There should be an investigation to indentify how many names have been deleted in the constituencies. I am requesting the JDS, Raitha Sangha and all other parties to check and keep an eye on their voters list. The dignity of the state is lost because of this issue. It is an insult to the democracy. I will take this issue to the Election Commission and request to register a suo moto case,” he informed.
“Let there be an investigation if the earlier alliance government had also given permission of revising the voters list to the NGO Chilume. Let there be an investigation of giving permissions during all the earlier governments tenure,” he said.
