ಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿನ ಚಾಮುಂಡಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾಯಿ ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ದೇವಿ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಭಕ್ತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದ್ಧ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಭಕ್ತರ ಪ್ರವೇಶವನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಬಗಾದಿ ಗೌತಮ್ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ದಿನಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿನ ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಜನಸಂದಣಿ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ, ಚಾಮುಂಡಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ನಿಷೇಧ ಹೇರಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಬಗಾದಿ ಗೌತಮ್ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Varamahalakshmi festival: No entry to Chamundi hills
Mysuru, August 20, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Due to the fear of the possible COVID third wave entry of devotees to the Chamundi hills has been restricted today which is Varamahalakshmi festival.
Usually the Chamundeshwari temple atop Chamundi hills attract more number of visitors during this festival. As a result of this Mysuru District Deputy Commissioner Bagadi Gowtham has issued orders restricting the entry of devotees to the temple and hills.
