Bengaluru, Apr. 16, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The COVID Technical Committee has suggested the State Government to impose Sec. 144 in the state following a steep hike in the COVID-19 Pandemic cases.
According to sources, the technical committee has also recommended ordering closure of cinema halls, bars, pubs, schools, and colleges soon.
Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa has called for an emergency meeting at his residential office Kaveri, where a decision is expected to be taken today. Several ministers and senior officials are also expected to take part in the meeting.
