Bengaluru, October 26, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has announced the inclusion of two new teams to IPL.
The two new teams that are included in the IPL are Lucknow and Ahmedabad. The RPGS and CVC Companies led by Sanjeev Goenka have purchased both of these teams.
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has informed that the BCCI aims to take the IPL tournament to the international level by including two more teams and promoting more Indian cricketers at the international level.
While the RPGS purchased the Lucknow team for Rs. 7,000 crores, the CVC purchased the Ahmedabad team for Rs. 5.6 crore.
