ಕೊರೊನಾ ತಡೆಗೆ ಮೇ 10ರಿಂದ 24ರವರೆಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಕಂಪ್ಲೀಟ್ ಲಾಕ್ ಡೌನ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಕೊಪ್ಪಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆ ಸಚಿವ ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟರ್, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರು ಸ್ವಯಂ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇ ಕೊರೋನಾ ತಡೆಗೆ ಅಂತಿಮ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜನ ಸ್ವಯಂ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೇ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೂಲ್ಸ್ ಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಠಿಣ ನಿಯಮ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Koppal, May 8, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The State Government has imposed complete lockdown across the state for 14 days, commencing from May 10, Monday, to bring the fast-spreading COVID-19 Pandemic under control.
Speaking about the Chief Minister’s orders at Koppal today, Industries Minister Jagadish Shettar said the only way to control the pandemic is that the people should impose self-restrictions.
“If people were in control there was no need of lockdown or tough rules,” he explained.
