Mysuru, March 4, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will lay the foundation stone for the ‘Cosmology Education and Research Training Center’ proposed to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 80 crore, in association with the University of Mysore and the Indian Astro Physics Center. The program will be held at 10.30 am on March 6.
The Institute is being constructed at the three acre land belonging to the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Higher Education Center, of the University of Mysore, near the foothills of Chamundi. Higher Education Minister Dr. C.N. Aswhathnarayan, Mysuru District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar, Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, MLAs S.A. Ramadas, L. Nagendra, Chief Scientific Advisor to the Govt. of India Prof. K. Vijaya Raghavan, K.N. Vyas, Secretary, Atomic Energy Division, Dr. S. Chandrashekar, Secretary, Science and Technology Department will be the chief guests.
