Mysuru, September 5, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The University of Mysore will accord doctorates on Dr. Govindarajan Padmanabhan, Chemistry Professor and Honorary Professor of the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, and Prashanth Prakash, President of the Vision Group on Start Up.
Addressing a press meet held at the Vignana Bhavana, Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, informed that the doctorates will be accorded to both the above persons at the 101st Convocation to be held at the Crawford Hall on September 7, 2021.
Dr. Govindarajan Padmanabhan, who is basically from Tamil Nadu has served at the Indian Institute of Science, in Bengaluru for a long time. Prashanth Prakash, who is the Founder of Axel Partner has involved himself in social works. He strove to reach free COVID vaccine to the tribal people in remote areas.
Prof. R. Shivappa, Registrar (Exams), Prof. A.P. Jnanaprakash and others were present.
