Mysuru, December 23, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The University of Mysore has given a green signal to start various new courses including Aviation Management, BBA in Tourism and Hospitality, and BBA – Tourism, and Travel.
The annual general body meeting of the education board of the University was held at the Vignana Bhavana, in Manasagangotri campus today.
Prof. Rajashekar, Dean, Commerce Department, University of Mysore explained that steps are being taken to extend the number of courses in several subjects as per the new NEP. He said that the department proposes to start new courses like BBA – Aviation Management, BBA – Tourism and Hospitality, and BBA – Tourism and Travel, for which all the members agreed.
Approved courses which will be started from the coming academic year are as follows: UG Science and Technology – under the BCA section – Cloud Computing and Digital Science, Internet of Things, Forensic Science, Food Processing and Quality Management, Geology, Digital Architecture, Certificate Course in Data Science, Certificate Course in Machine Learning with Python Programming, Certificate Course in Digital Health.
