Mysuru, August 17, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “There are 92 students from Afghanistan studying at the University of Mysore. The University is trying to fulfill all their demands,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
In his response to the ongoing Taliban atrocities in Afghanistan, Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar explained that the Afghan students located in Mysore are living safely. “They don’t have any demands. In case if they demand anything we will try to fulfill it. If their Visa validity is extended, the University is committed to solving their problems. We will make arrangements for them to stay in Mysuru,” he said.
