Mysuru, August 9, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The University of Mysore has organized the Yuvajana Mahotsava on August 11, as part of the 75th Indian Independence day celebrations. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will inaugurate the Mahotsav, the University of Mysore Engineering College, and other development programs.
Addressing a press meet held at the Crawford Hall today, Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, informed that the Higher Education Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwathanarayana, District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar, Sandalwood actor Yash, MP Pratap Simha, V.Srinivas Prasad, MLAs G.T. Devegowda, Sa. Ra. Mahesh and others will participate in the program. A musical program by renowned music director Arjun Janya has also been organized on the occasion.
Programs:
Inauguration of the School of Engineering College building, courses, Pharmacy College building, Golden Jubilee building of the Communications and Journalism Department, extended the first floor of the Department of Geology and Archeology Departments, renovated auditorium of the Computer Science Research Center, Oriental Sciences Research Center and Mythic Society programs and Gruhanidhi book release, Basaveshwara Research, Study and Extension Center building, releasing of the Encyclopedia 8 and 9th editions, Center of Excellence Sap, IIM and EC (inauguration of the vocational based and skill development courses). While the CM will inaugurate two programs, he will inaugurate the others virtually.
