ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜೂನ್ 24,2021(www.justkannada.in): ಲಸಿಕೆಯೊಂದರಿಂದಲೇ ಕೊರೊನಾ ಸೋಂಕಿನಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಎರಡೂ ಡೋಸ್ ಲಸಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯ ವಕೀಲರ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್-19 ಉಚಿತ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಅಭಿಯಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಎರಡೂ ಡೋಸ್ ನೀಡುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ. ಲಸಿಕೆಯೊಂದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಾವು ಕೊರೊನಾದಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಇರಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಮೊದಲಿನಂತೆ ಇರುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಬರಲು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಎರಡನೇ ಅಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಮೀರಿ ಸೋಂಕು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದರೂ, ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾವಿನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಬಹಳ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಸೋಂಕು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ವೈದ್ಯರ ನೇರ ನೇಮಕ ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಿಂದ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಖಾಲಿ ಇರುವ 1,760 ವೈದ್ಯ, ವೈದ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೂರನೇ ಅಲೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಡಾ.ದೇವಿಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಸಮಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ವರದಿಯ ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಆಧರಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಲಸಿಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಹರಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನೇ ಜನರು ಬೇಗ ನಂಬುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡುವ ಅಂಕಿ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬಬೇಕು. ಸಿಡುಬು ರೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿದಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ನಂಬಲು ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳೇ ಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಹೆಪಟೈಟಿಸ್ ಬಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರವಾದರೂ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು 20 ವರ್ಷ ಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಬೇಗ ಲಸಿಕೆ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ. ಇದು ವಿದೇಶದ್ದಾಗಿರದೆ, ದೇಶೀಯವಾಗಿಯೇ ತಯಾರಾಗಿರುವುದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ವಿಚಾರ. ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಈ ಲಸಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ವಿದೇಶದ ಲಸಿಕೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದರ ಹೊಂದಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಲಸಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಲಸಿಕೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ನೆಲೆಗಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸುಮಾರು 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ವಕೀಲರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಶಸ್ತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಇರುವ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರಿಗೆ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

Bengaluru – Jun 24, 2021; Vaccination is the only way out to keep Covid away. Government is determined to provide both the doses of Covid vaccine for all by this December end, said Health & Medical education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar
Speaking to the media here on Thursday after flagging off special vaccination drive at State Bar Council, Dr Sudhakar said that government is taking all out measures to vaccinate everyone by this December. Vaccine is the only solution for Corona. Otherwise we need to mask up all the time. If we want to be mask free, then everyone should be vaccinated at the earliest. He said.
It is because of the stringent measures by the government, that mortality rate has been reduced during the second wave though there was surge in cases than expected. We have increased the health infrastructure. Backlog vacancies of 1,760 medical officers have been filled which were due from last 25 years. We are strengthening the health sector at district level to tackle third wave based on the recommendations of the committee headed by Dr.Devi Shetty. Said the Minister.
Some people are spreading rumours about vaccine in social media. People tend to believe such information. I urge people to trust only authenticated information from government sources. As in the case of small pox, people took many years to trust the vaccine. Hepatitis-B vaccine took 20 years to arrive in India. But we are fast enough to invent vaccine for Covid-19. We should be proud enough that it has been invented in our country. This is very effective and everyone should get it, said Dr.Sudhakar.
Foreign vaccines are expensive but PM Narendra Modi is providing the indigenous vaccine free of cost to everyone. People should be informed scientifically and positively about the vaccine. Government has taken steps to vaccinate 1 lakh advocates and their families. It is given on priority to professionals who are in contact with more number of people, said the Minister.
