ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್,21,2020(www.justkannada.in) : ದೇಶದ ಕೃಷಿ ಹಾಗೂ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕೃಷಿ ಅನುಸಂಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್(ಐಸಿಎಆರ್) ರ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್ ನೀಡುವ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿವಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ 9ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿವಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದೆ.
ಐಸಿಎಆರ್ ನ ಕೃಷಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರೋ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ವಿವಿಗಳ ಬೋಧನೆ, ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ರೈತರ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಶ್ರೇಯಾಂಕ ನೀಡುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿವಿ ದೇಶದ 9ನೇ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿವಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಧಾರವಾಡ ಅಂದರೆ ಅದು ವಿದ್ಯಾಕಾಶಿ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳೇ ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಮೆರಗು. ಇಂಥ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕಾಶಿ ಕಿರೀಟಕ್ಕೆ ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಗರಿ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ 74 ಕೃಷಿ ವಿವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಈ ರ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿವಿಯ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಂಬರ್ ಒನ್ ಪಟ್ಟ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ, ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ 16ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು. ಈ ವರ್ಷವೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬರ್ ಒನ್ ಪಟ್ಟ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ದೇಶದ ರ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

The Dharwad Agriculture University has emerged as the best Agricultural University in the State by earning 9th place in the ICAR ranking.
The ICAR ranking given by the Agricultural Education Department is based on the quality of teaching, research, and activities carried out by the universities that benefit the farmers. The Dharwad Agricultural University has secured 9th rank in the entire country and thus Dharwad, which is recognized as an educational hub of Karnataka, has earned another feather in its cap.
