ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮಾ.೦೭, ೨೦೨೫: “ ಎಕನಾಮಿಕ್ ಟೈಮ್ಸ್ ಎಜು ಟೆಕ್ ಶೃಂಗಸಭೆ -2025” ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯವು ಐದು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಎಕನಾಮಿಕ್ ಟೈಮ್ಸ್ ಎಜು ಟೆಕ್ ಅವಾರ್ಡ್ಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸತತ ಎರಡನೇ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ವಿಟಿಯು ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ (ವಿಟಿಯು) ಗುರುವಾರ ಬಾಂಬೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಎಕನಾಮಿಕ್ ಟೈಮ್ಸ್ ಟೆಕ್ ಎಜು ಶೃಂಗಸಭೆ -2025 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಟೆಕ್ ವಿಶನರಿ ಉಪಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಐದು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ವಿಟಿಯು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿತು
1. ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಟೆಕ್ ವಿಶನರಿ ಉಪಕುಲಪತಿ
2. ಎನ್ಇಪಿ ಕಾರ್ಯತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ
3. ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಚಾಲಿತ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪಾಲುದಾರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟತೆ
4. ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಲೈಬ್ರರಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟತೆ
5. ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಚಾಲಿತ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ.
ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು / ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದವು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವಾದ ವಿಟಿಯುನ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇದು ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಚಾಲಿತ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಉತ್ತಮ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಯುವ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಲು ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಟಿಯು ಸತತ ಎರಡನೇ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಇಂತಹ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಎಕನಾಮಿಕ್ ಟೈಮ್ಸ್ನ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೋಧನೆ, ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ, ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳು, ಎನ್ಇಪಿ / ಉದ್ಯಮ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ, ವಿಟಿಯು ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಂಕರ್ ಎಸ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಲುದಾರರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಜತೆಗೆ ಇದು ಇಡೀ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಭ್ರಾತೃತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸುದ್ದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪೊ.ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಂಕರ್ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

Second time in a row VTU could Excel in the Prestigious Economic Times Edu Tech Awards.
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi – a public university of Karnataka has bagged Five awards including Outstanding Tech Visionary Vice Chancellor award at Economic Times Tech Edu Summit-2025 held at Bombay on 06th March.
VTU won awards in the following categories
- Outstanding Tech Visionary Vice Chancellor
- Outstanding in Adopting NEP Strategies
- Excellence in Tech Driven Industry Academia Partnerships
- Excellence in Digital Library Services
- Outstanding Tech Driven Engineering University.
In this many institutions including private and public universities/institutions pan India.
This is a phenomenal achievement by VTU, which is just 26+ years old state university. It shows a good system imparting skill oriented industry driven quality education in the field of engineering and management, promoting research and innovation culture among young generation and revolutionary steps taken to connect industries and institutes. This is for the second time in a row that VTU could find such a good positions in the prestigious award ceremony.
The jury at Economic Times evaluates universities and institutions on very stringent parameters on Teaching, Learning, Research, Innovation and Professional Practices, adoption of NEP/industry relevant curriculum.
At this occasion, Hon’ble Vice–Chancellor Prof. Vidyashankar S., and other officers of University congratulated all the staff members, students and stake holders of the University for this Great Achievement and said this is the great news for the whole University fraternity.
