ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 15,2024(www.justkannada.in): ನಮಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಆತ್ಮಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಮತಗಳು ಬೀಳಲಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗೇಟು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಕುಪೇಂದ್ರ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿದ್ದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಮತಗಳು ಬೀಳಲಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಅಡ್ಡಮತದಾನದ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದ್ದು ಹೀಗೆ;
“ನಮಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಜತೆ ನೆಂಟಸ್ಥನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನಮಗೂ ಆತ್ಮಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಮತಗಳು ಬರುವ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿದೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ನವರು ಸದಾ ಕುದುರೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿ. ಫೆ. 27 ರಂದು ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ಎಷ್ಟು ಮತಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಕಾದುನೋಡಿ. ಆ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಆತ್ಮಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಮತಗಳು ಸಿಗಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಮತದಾನದ ನಂತರ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಮೈತ್ರಿಯಿಂದ ಐದನೇ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಕಣಕ್ಕಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಅವರು ಅವರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಲಿ. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ನಮ್ಮ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪರ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ:
ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದಿಂದ ಮೂವರು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಣಕ್ಕಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವರು ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿದೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಅಜಯ್ ಮಾಕೇನ್ ಅವರ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ, ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ನವರು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ. ಅಜಯ್ ಮಾಕೇನ್ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ದೇಶದ ಐಕ್ಯತೆ, ಸಮಗ್ರತೆ, ಶಾಂತಿಗಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಾಯಕನಿಂದ ದೆಹಲಿವರೆಗೂ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಆಧಾರಸ್ತಂಭ ಇವರು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾವು ಬಹಳ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಮಹತ್ವದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ:
ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಬಾಂಡ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ದೇಶದ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲೇ ಇದೊಂದು ಮಹತ್ವದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ. ಅವರ ಈ ಧೈರ್ಯವಾದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ಉಳಿಸಲು ಇಂತಹ ಮಹತ್ವದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳು ಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

Bengaluru, Feb 15: Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today said that Congress party will get ‘conscience votes’ from JDS and BJP for its candidates in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
Speaking to reporters at Vidhana Soudha, he said, “We too have friends across parties. Our candidates will also get conscience votes in Rajya Sabha elections.” He was responding to reporters who asked if there would be cross voting in the Rajya Sabha election as JDS candidate Kuppendra Reddy, who has friends across parties, has entered the fray.
“JDS has joined hands with the BJP. We too have friends across parties and we will get conscience votes from them. BJP and JDS always indulge in horse trading and they are known for that. The JDS thinks that BJP will support them, but wait and watch till Feb 27 and you will know how many votes they get from the BJP,” he said. Asked how many conscience votes Congress candidates may get from other parties, he said he would comment on that after the polls.
Our candidates will raise voice for Karnataka
Asked about the candidates announced for the Rajya Sabha, he said, “The people of the state have supported the Congress party led by Mallikarjuna Kharge. We are confident that our candidates will raise voice for the state in the Upper House.”
Replying to questions on fielding Ajay Maken from Karnataka, he said, “Ask the JDS and BJP who had fielded outsiders in the past. Ajay Maken’s family has sacrificed a lot for the unity, peace and integrity of the country. He has worked to build the party from his student days and we are happy to elect him from here.”
Asked about Supreme Court’s ruling on Electoral bonds, he said, “This is a historic judgment. I congratulate them for their courage. Judgments like this are needed to save democracy in the country.”
