Chikkaballapura, January 27, 2020 : Chikkaballapura MLA Dr. K. Sudhakar performed Bhoomi Pooja and commenced work for the Chikkaballapura Institute of Medical Sciences on Monday. Work on the district medical college and hospital will be completed in 36 months.
MLA Dr. K. Sudhakar thanked Chief Minister Shri B.S. Yediyurappa for the hospital projects and said “Vested interests tried hard to take the sanctioned Medical college away from Chikkaballapur and it was only because of Chief Minister Yediyurappa that justice was done to Chikkaballapura. On behalf of people of district, I thank the Chief Minister for standing by the district”.
When completed, the Rs. 525 Crores Chikkaballapura medical college and hospital, a brain child of Dr. K.Sudhakar, will address the long pending demand of people to have a modern hospital in their district. The medical college has been an important election promise of Dr. Sudhakar to the people of Chikkaballapura.
“The Government Medical college and Hospital will play a vital role in the development of the district. I will ensure the work is completed much before the 36 months deadline” said Dr. K.Sudhakar.
