Bengaluru, November 10, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today called upon the government employees to work for one hour more every day.
He participated in a program organized by the Karnataka State Government Employee’s Association, held under the leadership of Association president C.S. Shadakshari, on the occasion of the State Govt.s decision to form 7th pay commission to revise the State Government employees salaries.
“This should reach till the last level. Leave other works to me. Let us all strive together to make our State prosperous. Please work honestly and with discipline. If we work for the cause of poor and for the people Karnataka will develop. Let us all build for a new Karnataka and New India. We should make our contribution for the Govt. of India’s dream of becoming a 5 trillion dollar economy,” he said.
“Announcing the formation of the pay commission immediately after 5 years has happened for the first time in our state, during our government. Inflation is increasing every year. There is lot difference when you all joined the job and the present working conditions. Both time and money are important. When our income increases right in time, it inspires us to live. That is why we have taken this decision. It was also the desire of former CM B.S. Yediyurappa. Association President Shadakshari also had demanded for it,” he observed.
