ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್,12,2021(www.justkannada.in): ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರ, ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು ಜಯದೇವ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಾಣಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಜಯದೇವ ಹೃದ್ರೋಗ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫಿಸಿಟಾಲ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಆಫ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ಖಾಸಗಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಲಸಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆಕ್ಸ್ ಫರ್ಡ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲೂ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯುವಜನರು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅನೇಕ ಯುವಜನರು ವೈದ್ಯರಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಜನರು ಸಂಶೋಧಕರಾಗಲು ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತನೆ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರತಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಮ್ಸ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಶೀಘ್ರ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಅಟಲ್ ಬಿಹಾರಿ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿ ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಪ್ರತಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೃದಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಜಯದೇವ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಟ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಬೆಳೆದಿದೆ. ಈ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು ಏಕೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿ ಬದ್ಧತೆ, ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಲಸಿಕೆ
ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಲಸಿಕೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕೊವ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿನ್ ಲಸಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಲು ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ. 2 ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ 18 ವರ್ಷದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲು ಅನುಮತಿ ದೊರತಿದೆ. ಪೋಷಕರೆಲ್ಲರು ಬಹಳ ಕಾತರದಿಂದ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಇದು ಬಹಳ ಸಂತಸದ ಸಂಗತಿ. ಇದರ ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಜೈಡಸ್ ಎಂಬ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ಡಿಎನ್ಎ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಸಹ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯ. ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಟುಡೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲು ದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಭಾರತ್ ಬಯೋಟೆಕ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ದೊರೆಯಿತು. ಭಾರತ್ ಬಯೋಟೆಕ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೂಗಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವ ನೇಸಲ್ ವ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿನ್ ಕೂಡ ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ದೊರತೆರೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಬಹುದು. ನೇಸಲ್ ವ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿನ್ ಗೆ ನುರಿತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ವಿತರಿಸಬಹುದು. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 2-18 ವರ್ಷ ಒಳಗಿನ ಸುಮಾರು 1.5 ಕೋಟಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲು ಸುಮಾರು 3 ಕೋಟಿ ಡೋಸ್ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇದೆ. ಎಂದರು.

Every Government Hospital should provide quality healthcare service like Jayadeva Institute

A nation can move forward only through Innovation and Research. Universities should prioritise and encourage research activities, said Health and Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar.
Speaking after the inauguration of the newly installed Digital Learning Management System at Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular sciences and research, Minister said that there are many medical colleges, but we must focus on improving the quality of teaching and learning. Oxford discovered vaccine for Covid-19. Our universities should also focus on research and development. There are many students who wish to become doctors but there are only few who want to take up research. There is a need to change this situation, said Dr.K.Sudhakar.
PM Narendra Modi has taken initiative to set up AIIMS in every state. Our stare govt is committed to provide quality healthcare at district level across the state. So we are establishing four new medical colleges. We have also started the Atal Bihari Medical College recently, he said.
Every district must have quality cardiac care facility. Jayadeva Institute has grown on par with any other corporate hospital. Patients are getting excellent quality healthcare here. We must think why all government hospitals cannot provide same quality healthcare to people. Every govt hospital, every govt doctor must consider Jayadeva as a model and improve quality of service in the similarly, said the minister.
Children’s vaccine
DCGI has approved covaxin for kids in the age group 2-18 years. This is a big relief to parents who are eagerly waiting to get the children vaccinated against Covid-19. I will discuss with Union Health Minister and senior officials about its production and supply. It is a matter of pride that Indian company Zydus is developing world’s first DNA based vaccine. I had the opportunity to meet Krishna Ella of Bharat Biotech last week who was also in Delhi to receive the India Today Award. I was happy to know that Bharat Biotech’s nasal vaccine is in its final stage of development and nasal vaccine can further accelerate our vaccination drive as it doesn’t need trained healthcare personnel to administer vaccine. It is estimated that there are about 1.5 crore kids in the age group 2-18 years. So we need about 3 crore doses to vaccinate kids in our state, said the minister.
